About Me

I am a currently a senior at UCLA, about to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. I have been playing saxophone for twelve years, and have a background in classical, jazz, funk, hip-hop, and rock. I was section leader in marching band, wind ensemble, and jazz band in high school, and I also played in the chamber ensemble. After high school I played in a rock band for two years, and have recently recorded a single with a hip-hop group called The Low Keys. Being a section leader taught me a great deal about patience, and gave me countless hours of hands-on experience teaching. I take a great deal of pride in my ability to teach, and will do everything in my power to ensure that my students walk away knowing a skill that will truly enrich their lives.
