About Me
Thank you for visiting my page and hello! My name is Shayna Rose and I am currently an environmental engineering undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University. You might say, "What is an engineer?" Truth be told, I didn't really know what engineering was until I switched into the major. But from what I've learned so far, it's basically using scientific, mathematic, and social knowledge to solve problems in the world. And in order to do that, you gotta know your stuff! I love sharing my passion of the "stuff" I know with others and would be thrilled to do so for you, a friend, or a loved one!
As of now, my strengths lie in physics, writing, and mathematics, but I am also fit to aid in other areas, such as chemistry, art history, US history, and some facets of music. I played percussion in high school, but my strongest skill is singing. As a Soprano/Alto with a decent ear, I can help with all ranges. Or, if you just want a singing buddy, I'm here for that too- duets are beautiful and so much fun!
I firmly believe that no one is "bad" at anything. Being "bad" at something just means that you haven't found the right way of approaching it. That's where I come in. Together, we can work through problems and find the right way of thinking about them for you.
