About Me
I am a third-year civil engineering major at the UCLA School of Engineering, and I am available to help you! I am especially capable to help you with math, but as you can see from the provided list of subjects, I am also competent in a few other areas. At UCLA, I have taken courses in multivariable and
vector calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. When I was
in high school, I scored a 5 (out of 5) on the AP Calculus exam in 10th
grade, 5 on AP Statistics, and 780 (out of 800) on the SAT II Math
Level II.
I have worked with other students in the past. I am competent and personable. I believe that difficulties in math
experienced by students do not reflect the capabilities of those
students, but rather the ineffective way in which most teachers teach. I
understand math on such a level that I do not rely on terminology (as
most teachers do) but am able to explain concepts so that topics are
understood in a conceptual manner, hence giving you a TRUE understanding!
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested.
All the best,
Sam
