About Me

Hello Everyone. As you know, my name is Cameron. I am an artist living in Denver, Colorado. I have a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado and I have a M.A. in Diplomacy (emphasis terrorism) from Norwich University. I believe that history and government can be fun and that an educated citizenry is necessary for good government regardless of your political persuasions. As an artist I've studied art, literature, and writing. I have a passion for all three and I'm lucky enough to be able to live among that environment every day with everything that I do. I love to teach and tutor students who are having trouble because despite my education, learning was always hard for me and something I had to work at. I believe that every can "get it" and even carry the knowledge with them. I work really hard to make a very dry subject fun and to educate not just jam information into the student's head. So whether we're discussing symbolism in "The Scarlet Letter" or the finer points of Parliamentary Procedure I can guarantee that the prospective student will come out far smarter at the end than in the beginning and he/she will enjoy learning!

In the past I've taught at Upward Bound (a program for gifted students). I've taught flute for 5 years (played for 15, professionally for most of that). I was an assistant in some entry level Political Science classes in college.
