About Me
I have lots of experience teaching students of all ages, and tutoring courses in mathematics, biology, science, chemistry, statistics, physics, calculus, english, spanish etc. at the elementary, middle, high school and university level.
I am very enthusiastic, patient, and responsible and have displayed this in the previous jobs and leadership positions I have held. I am committed, reliable, and as a recent graduate, I am quite knowledgeable on the current curriculum and subject material.
I graduated from Biomedical Sciences from University of Waterloo in 2006, and shortly after pursued a career in Medicine. After a couple of years of Medical School I realized it wasn't the career for me and I decided to switch paths and follow my heart, and go into teaching (a life long dream). I applied for various bachelors of education programs in Canada and New York State, however, am currently waiting to hear back from these schools. For this reason, I currently have much free time and energy that I wish to direct towards tutoring. I am available during the day and evenings 7 days a week. I am also willing to travel up to 30 miles if needed. Lastly, the hourly rate for tutoring is negotiable depending on location and subjects that require tutoring.
I would be happy to send you my resume and further information if desired. Hopefully, from my resume, you will see my passion for learning, love for helping others achieve their personal goals and their highest potential and vast experience working with youth and students of all ages.
I know that by working as a tutor in New York City, I will graciously be given the opportunity to continue sharing my knowledge with students while also developing as a teacher and gaining skills to excel as a high school science, health and math teacher in the future.
Thank you in advance for your time and considering me as your future tutor.
