About Me

As a credentialed English/Social Studies teacher, I have taught/tutored for more than 12 years. I am also a qualified journalist with more than 10 years experience as a magazine editor/writer and as a book editor/ writer. My experience includes the writing of curriculum for an ESL school. Presently I am working on a book writing contract and so will not be available to tutor until the beginning of September. However, if you send me a message, we can certainly discuss your needs.

I have a passion for helping my students improve their English writing/speaking skills, raise their school grades and advance in their profession. My passion for correct grammar and sentence structure, skilled essay writing, English literary understanding, and for proficient English conversation is of great benefit to my students. I have tutored for many years with a record of results helping students quickly improve and achieve success. In one recent tutoring experience, within six weeks, my student raised his English course grades from Cs to As. Others have not only improved their English but discovered a new enjoyment for English writing and oral communication.

Besides my passion for helping others develop their English skills, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar (I used to have a band) and working on a book of my own that I plan to publish.
