Larkin has been teaching the LSAT independently for over five years. He studied philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned his bachelors degree. As a philosophy major he received formal training in logic, an important skill for taking the LSAT. After college Larkin scored a 179 on the LSAT, in the 99.9th percentile. Larkin also graduated from New York University School of Law. He has experience tutoring a wide variety of students. He has taught the LSAT successfully to hundreds of students, including experienced professionals going back to school, inexperienced college students who have never seen the LSAT before, and many individuals who have tried other test prep companies and/or other tutors with little to no success. The accomplishments of Larkin's students has led to several national institutions seeking his assistance. In recent years he has taught the LSAT for several law school admission pipeline programs including the West Virginia University School of Law. Additionally, a major test prep company has taken note and has asked him to review work done by other LSAT writers and instructors.
Larkin is based in New York City, and tutors students both in the city and Long Island, Westchester County, New Jersey, and other surrounding areas.
