I am currently a PhD student in English at the University of Maryland. In the past year, I worked as a college English teacher at Professional Business College, having recently completed my Master's degree with honors from NYU. I have worked as a tutor of middle school, high school, and college students in Math, English, History, Science, French, Test Prep, you name it! I have worked with students in educational settings for eleven years. I graduated with honors from Tufts University with a degree in English -including three semesters of Engineering, I studied abroad in France, and I have extensive experience both tutoring and teaching.
I was a teaching assistant for an expository writing and college prep class at Columbia University for two summers. As a teaching assistant, I independently taught grammar, writing skills, and college prep for to high school students. Additionally, for five years I worked with very young students on basic reading skills.
