About Me

My breadth of experience sets me apart from other teachers/tutors. I was educated in China, Great Britain and continue in the United States. I have taught primary, high school, and university levels in China. I am deeply passionate about Chinese culture and history and this is evident in my customized lesson plans. I have been teaching and tutoring Mandarin to business people who travel or communicate with China, children, and high school students privately. I am an effective tutor because I realize there is a virtually unlimited "market" of students who need results in this changing, opportunity-rich world where the role of the Mandarin language is expanding.
