About Me
Hi there! I'm a graduate of Binghamton University, where I studied English with a concentration in global culture. I'm a hobby writer, and a few of my literary works have been published over the years. I have been tutoring English for a total of roughly 3 years now, and watching my students develop their language skills is one of the most rewarding experiences. I started off teaching as a volunteer at Binghamton, and soon realized how much fun it was. I decided to continue to tutor while I was abroad as well. Besides for tutoring, I work as an editor, content writer and translator on a freelance basis. I am a native Hebrew and English speaker. I also speak German and some Spanish and Japanese (although I'm still learning the latter two). Although my focus is English, I am an avid history fan. I enjoy reading and researching historical texts from around the globe. I realize that that may make me a "nerd", but that also means I can help others learn more about our past! My grades pertaining to history were consistently above average. If not for timing issues, I would hold a Minor in General History. My main areas of interest are U.S History (pre-Civil War), European History, Asian Studies, and Native American Studies.
Lastly, for those wishing to improve their LSAT scores, or need assistance writing personal statements and letters of motivation, I scored in the top 27% in the country on the LSAT, so I would be glad to help. In addition, I have written and edited countless admissions essays.
If you think you might need some help learning English, History, LSAT practice, or writing essays, feel free to contact me. I would be glad to help you out!
