About Me

Hello there! My name is Libby, and I'm currently an instructor teaching a developmental writing class at a local city college. I have a B.A. in English from UCLA and I have a M.A. in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University. I'm also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, an English honor society. I love tutoring students because I'm all about getting people to where they need to be. I'm big on one-on-one tutoring and trying to explain topics in various ways so that we can both really grasp the specific learning concepts we are aiming for. I've started tutoring early in my high school career (mentoring and tutoring middle school and elementary students) up to now. I specialize in writing, editing, linguistics, reading, and literature.
