About Me
I am a recent graduate of Pomona College, located in Southern California and ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the fourth-best liberal arts college in the country. I have extensive experience tutoring and working with youth in general. I have tutored fourth- and fifth-graders in math and peer-edited countless peers' college essays; I have directed youth sports camps and provided support to severely emotionally disturbed high-schoolers. It may sound trite, but I deeply enjoy the intellectual and interpersonal challenge teaching presents. While I expect hard work from a student, I am patient above all and listen before I lecture. I specialize in teaching standardized tests (ACT, SAT, and SAT Subject Tests), math and statistics, writing, French, and economics. In my spare time, I run religiously, listen constantly to music, and read. I look forward to teaching students!
