About Me

I am a UConn graduate with a double major. I have a major in Spanish and an individualized major: International Commerce&Political Economy.  My individualized major is a mix of political science, economics and business which allows to me to have an understanding of a wide view of subjects.  I enjoy tutoring and helping people learn new things.  Since I have participated in both roles of being the tutor and tutee, it allows me to always think of a better way to help people understand the concept.  I have extensive experience with teaching English as a second language, Spanish and helping students organize, and improve time management skills.  I know that I was able to be successful in college because of my passion for learning and that passion is what I try to ignite in my students.  There is no one size fits all approach because everyone has different needs and talents.  It is so rewarding when my student reaches that point where something clicks and soon they are able to do the teaching on the subject to others!
