About Me
I graduated from the University of Connecticut, at Storrs with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. I was a member of the Engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi and the Civil Engineering honor society of Chi Epsilon. As a member of these societies I tutored underclassmen during my junior and senior years at the University of Connecticut. I found the experience of helping students understand material to be very rewarding. After graduating from UConn I spent three years at North Carolina State University studying for a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering. I am currently finishing work on my thesis for this degree. As a graduate student at North Carolina State University I was also a Teaching Assistant for a Laboratory Class which included responsibilities of teaching and instructing lab classes of 16 students. Through my coursework in Civil Engineering I have studied Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, Algebra, Trigonometry, and various subjects related to Civil Engineering. I encourage you to contact me about any specific subject that I may be able to help you with. I was also a tutor in high school. In high school I studied Latin as a foreign language. I look forward to hearing from you!
