About Me
I love teaching, and have approximately three years of experience with a variety of students. I have taught in a middle school special education classroom setting, in a university as a Foreign Language Teacher of English while studying abroad in Ecuador, in wilderness settings at the Outdoor School and Eckerd Youth Alternatives, and I am currently working as a tutor.
I love tutoring because I get a kick out of watching my
students understand things that they didn't before, and change their minds
about subjects that they thought they didn't like. I love math, and have had a deep understanding of its concepts from an early age, I currently tutor elementary math through Pre-Calculus. I also tutor all aspects of English including grammar, essay writing, vocabulary, and SAT prep skills. I am competent Spanish tutor having studied Spanish since first grade. I have worked with numerous kids with special needs over the years including: autism, ADD/ADHD, ESL, dyslexia, and many more. I currently have a JD and did extremely well on the LSAT and am exceptional talented at teaching the dreaded logic section.
