About Me

I am friendly, patient and a highly experienced teacher of Spanish, English as a Foreign Language, French and Latin - I have been teaching and tutoring for 22 years. I worked for 11 years in Spain teaching English as a foreign language, and also doing translating and interpreting work. Then I moved back to England to teach Spanish, as well as, French and Latin at a grammar school for boys aged 11 to 18 as well as to adults. I have always enjoyed teaching people and feel that my pupils have enjoyed my lessons and really been able to benefit from them. Because of my experience, I can understand where learners have difficulties and have a broad and varied bank of strategies to help.
