About Me
I am currently a graduate student at California State University, Northridge, pursuing my master of fine arts degree in the field of communication studies with an emphasis on rhetorical studies. Through being a peer mentor in volunteer youth programs and teaching undergraduate students at my university, I have come to the realization that teaching is not just a job, but is also a passion and gift that I am truly thankful for. Throughout the past year, I have assisted students with SAT prep for the writing and reading portions of the exam, essay writing, and English vocabulary and grammar. Additionally, I also teach public speaking at Cal State Northridge and coach members of the school's speech and debate team. My biggest goal in life is to leave people better off than how I initially found them, which is a goal inspired by my professor and advisor, Peter Marston. Through extensive instruction and interaction, I hope to accomplish this goal repeatedly for the rest of my life!
