About Me
I'm a Yale graduate with over ten years of test prep experience. I specialize in SAT prep but also tutor students preparing for the LSAT/GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/SSAT exams. Over the years, I've learned how to adapt to the specific learning style of the student I'm working with. Whether I'm working with a student who is befuddled by the test and needs help earning a decent score or somebody who needs a boost to qualify for a competitive college, I pride myself on being able to help students achieve their potential. I also excel at providing clear and easy-to-remember explanations and strategies that help students navigate the "rough waters" of tricky SAT problems.
In addition to test, prep I'm also a good editor/writing coach. As a philosophy professor I often help students formulate their thoughts and develop arguments for difficult philosophy essays. If you're struggling with an essay or an application and know what you want to say but can't quite express it, we can work together to crystallize your thoughts and eventually dazzle your audience.
