About Me
Hi! I am a sophomore at Goucher College majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in German. I am also beginning to take courses for my Master's degree in At-Risk and Diverse Learners and to obtain Special Education teaching certification. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade. I worked as a peer tutor for three years during high school, volunteered as a teacher for Summerbridge Pittsburgh after my sophomore year of high school, and worked as a volunteer over the summer for preschool and kindergarten art classes. I worked for two summers as a camp leader at the Glen Montessori School. In college, I have done field work at several local schools through my Education courses, and I have also volunteered in the Read-a-Story/Write-a-Story program at The Barclay School for two semesters. I currently work as the Supplemental Instructor for the German language courses at Goucher. I love teaching and am happy to help with anything I can! However I don't have a car, so if possible, it'd be easiest if you could meet me somewhere close to Goucher's campus. References available upon request.
