About Me
I am a Mississippi State University honors graduate in Economics and Business and have 2 years of graduate course work in Economics and Statistics. One of my greatest passions is teaching, particularly mathematics. When I was in high school, my teachers taught math as just solving equations and plugging in numbers, and as such I never quite "got it" until I went to university and learned why math was beautiful. I had several fantastic math teachers who taught me not just "how" to solve problems but "why." Because of these experiences I understand the challenges students face in the classroom, and can help them overcome these obstacles. I want each of my students to come away from tutoring with the knowledge and confidence to tackle any math problem that comes their way.
