About Me

I graduated in 2009, summa cum laude, from Columbia University with a B.A. in German Language and Cultural Studies, where I also received departmental honors. Following graduation, I lived in Berlin for two years, where I worked as a translator and editor for a German Environmental Think Tank. In Berlin, I also studied Musicology at the Freie University. Currently, I am in charge of the German/Austrian branch of a New York tour operator. I speak perfect German, but just like you, I too once had to grapple with the grammar and vocabulary of this beautiful language and learn to bring it to fluency, which is a great help in tutoring students in German. I have over 4 years of private, one-on-one tutoring experience in English, German and Latin both here in New York and in Berlin.
