About Me

As an editor and journalist, it's been my job to craft well written and engaging articles. I have experience editing professionals as well as students. During college I began tutoring. I've worked with elementary, high school, and college students. My focus lies in tutoring in any subject related to English, reading, or writing. As a former AP and Honors student who graduated early from college, I am well versed in tutoring for those English, History, and Literature courses. I am also well versed in A.P. Style, public relations, and marketing. For the past year I have been tutoring at a local community college helping students (including many ESL students with various language backgrounds) proofread their writing assignments and master their English homework.

I help all students to understand how organization, correct grammar, and accurate spelling can provide clarity and allow for creativity. I have also volunteered for the S.M.A.R.T reading program which offered me the opportunity to improve reading comprehension in young students while also helping to foster a love for storytelling.
