About Me
I am a recent graduate from the Schools of Public Health and Art Practice at U.C. Berkeley, where I completed a competitive science curriculum with a focus on human biology and infectious diseases. I am now a part-time nursing student at New York University, and love it! I have experience working with youth, ranging from grades K-6. Most of my experience is in the applied sciences, so I can speak very enthusiastically about career options in health care and technology. I also taught writing/literacy classes to K-5 in the East Bay and have experience writing for various publications. My teaching philosophy is that every student learns in their own individual way, and that my role is to adapt accordingly to develop the best study skills. I like to make learning fun, and am a supporter of creative thinking!
