I'm a recent Stanford University graduate with extensive teaching and tutoring experience. Students I have helped in college preparation and application have been admitted to prestigious schools like Stanford, Duke, University of Chicago, Yale, UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA, among many other universities and colleges. I also have a successful track record in helping struggling students to improve by at least one letter grade in the subject in which I tutor them.
I believe that most teachers are unable to address individual students' personalized learning styles; therefore, I work in a way that attempts to teach subject material to students in a way that best uses the way they process and learn information. I try to go above and beyond a tutor's usual work, creating worksheets, developing lesson plans, and organizing review sessions the day before tests. Can you tell I eventually want to become a teacher?
I'd be more than happy to help students achieve their fullest potential; please feel free to contact me with any questions!
