About Me
I am a graduate of Baltimore City Community College. I have always wanted to tutor children. I feel as though that if I can help one student, I feel as though I am doing my job. The love of education has been instilled in me by my mother. For as long as I can remember, my mother have always strived for me to do my best. Now that I am a mother myself, I will pass my love of education on to my son (who is only 2 years old right now) when he prepares for school in the long run.
Through the years, I had various teachers who showed me that teaching has its rewards. In my Freshman year of high school, my favorite teacher was Mr. Clem. At the time, I was going to Southern High School in Baltimore City. He showed me that all aspects of Biology (especially dissecting a fetal pig) was interesting. Because of Mr. Clem, I learned a lot more about biology. Even though I want my students to pass their subject(s) with flying colors, I also want them to apply what they learn in their subject(s) to their everyday lives.
