About Me
I am a Wesleyan University graduate in East Asian Studies with a focus on Japanese literature and currently work in a Children's psychiatric clinic at UCLA in preparation for graduate school. I started tutoring for the Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles when I was a middle school student and fell in love with teaching. Since then I have taught many students focusing on writing and reading comprehension as well as SAT preparation. I think a tutoring session should be fun and I make sure to keep things interesting. When a student has fun learning s/he will become self-motivated and academically successful and eventually outgrow the need for tutoring. I teach my students so one day they will no longer need my help.
