About Me

I graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Florida with a degree in chemistry. Currently, I'm pursuing a PharmD at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have experience working with diverse students through my past and current tutoring positions. I worked with collegiate athletes at USF tutoring them in a variety of math and science courses, as well as economics. In addition, I worked with students who have been conditionally admitted to USF to help them succeed in their courses.

I also tutored high school students from low-income families through the Upward Bound program in chemistry, trigonometry, and precalculus. In the past, I have also tutored fellow students in general chemistry through the Chemistry Society at USF.

I am a certified Level 1 Tutor by the College Reading and Learning Association. Through my work experiences at USF, I have also participated in multiple tutor training programs that emphasized understanding the differences in students' learning styles and how to adapt to each of them. All of these experiences have given me the ability to learn to adapt my tutoring style to each individual's learning style. My ultimate goal is to give you the tools to teach yourself how to learn the material.
