I have nearly six years experience as a one-on-one tutor/coach of writing (from high school to graduate level students) and two years experience as a high school English teacher. I also ran a Writing Center at a high school in Chicago where I not only worked with students myself, but trained students to coach their peers in writing. In that capacity, I helped students publish their writing and perform creative pieces at open mic nights. ....
