About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have loved history. After I graduated from UCLA, I decided to pursue a Ph.D. in history. I couldn't wait for the opportunity to have my own classroom, where I could get my students as excited about the subject as I was! I soon realized however that my passion was not just for the subject, but for teaching. I decided to become a tutor for Kaplan, working with students between the ages of five and sixteen, helping them with reading, writing and math. Since graduating with a Ph.D. from UPenn, I have spent my time teaching at Brooklyn College and UPenn. While I love teaching history to college students, I miss working with younger students on a variety of subjects. If you are looking for a history, English or math tutor, please give me a call!
