About Me

Hello all! My name is Ammar and after many years of tutoring my siblings and friends in the subject of English, I've decided to gain some more experience by branching out into tutoring outside of my social circle. I'm currently pursuing a degree at Northeastern Illinois University. I'm double majoring in English language and literature and in secondary education. I will have completed all my requirements for my English degree at the end of the current school semester and will begin in the College of Education over the summer, which I intend to complete by spring 2013. I feel that my experiences in tutoring so many of my friends and my siblings throughout the years in English, reading, writing, critical thinking, and logical reasoning in argumentative prose will help me effectively and efficiently aid in the learning process of the students I would tutor. I'm hoping that this experience will then prepare me for when I begin student teaching next year. I am very passionate about education and am a strong believer in the importance of academics towards living a successful and fulfilling life.
