About Me

After graduating from Northwestern University with a BS in Education and Social Policy I came to the Bay Area to teach and work with inner city small schools in Oakland. In the future I hope to build a school myself, and in the fall I will be getting an MA in Education Policy at the University of Pennsylvania as a first step.

I have been teaching SAT/ACT prep for almost a year now, and was trained by RevolutionPrep staff before I became independent. I love teaching in general, but especially love working with high school students who I believe are currently making incredibly exciting and important decisions for their lives! It has been wonderful helping students achieve their dreams and get into their college of choice.

My students have improved an average of 300 points within my classes and through individual tutoring. Recently I coached a student to a 2400 on the SAT (a perfect score!) through only 4 tutoring sessions!
