About Me
I'm a Northwestern Honors graduate in English. I have been a private tutor, academic coach, and teen life coach in Chicago and the North Shore since 1993.
I tutor and coach middle school, high school and college students in study skills, organization skills, reading comprehension, speed reading, writing, college application essays, SAT/ACT/GRE verbal section, English/English AP, science, history and other humanities-related subjects.
Whether they are labeled gifted, ADD or anything in between, all the students I've worked with are creative, smart, and competent. Without exception, they all want to be more capable as human beings and more self aware, more assertive, and more kind to themselves and others.
Whether as a private tutor and academic coach, or specifically as a life coach, I use every session as an opportunity to help teenagers succeed authentically, in school and in life, as whole human beings.
