About Me

As a 7th grade teacher, I find that students thrive academically and socially with targeted support to meet their needs.  Individual attention and instruction are essential to student success. As a licensed English and math teacher, grades 1-9, I have experience teaching both subjects to general and special needs students.  In the past, I have tutored students to meet and exceed grade level standards, in addition to working on students' foundational skills.  I earned a Master's degree from Hunter College in Childhood and Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education.  In addition to tutoring in math and ELA, I am open to general homework help.
