About Me
In May of 2013, I will graduate from Columbia University, where I study French and Francophone Studies and History. Additionally, I am immersed in the theater and arts community on campus as an actress, singer, and producer. I find that this combination of academia and the arts has provided me with a skill set that allows me to teach in an encouraging, fun, and patient manner. I worked at Into This City International Acting School for two semesters, teaching beginner and intermediate French and assistant teaching two theatre classes. I worked closely with the director/head teacher, and I found her approach to be extremely inspiring to my own success as both a student and a teacher. Additionally, I have worked as a vocal coach and music director on numerous theatrical productions as well as working as a private tutor in subjects such as History, French, English, and Algebra. Teaching brings me great joy, and I work hard to see that every one of my students has success.
