History

The city of Orange is located about 32 miles southeast of Los Angeles in Central Orange County, California. The city was incorporated in 1888. The town grew quickly in the first decade of the 19th century due to the demand for the regions agricultural products, primarily citrus. Today Orange's economy is supported largely by the healthcare industry. Orange is a close-knit and athletic community.
